Hi, thanks for visiting. I have been working in the I.T. arena since 1996. Working my way up from P.C. technician to System Administrator and ultimately as I.T. manager.
Throughout this time I have had extensive experience with Microsoft Windows (Haven’t we all!), Linux, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, MacOS, OS X and even more esoteric operating systems such as MPE/iX.
After accepting redundancy from my last position I have since decided to return to education where I am now currently studying for a Degree in Business in Tipperary Institute. You may think it unusual that I chose not to study something related to I.T. but it is my intention to return to I.T. someday hopefully as a PHB although I will be 36 when I graduate so I might not have much hair left by then..
